on your bottom line. Fees and Guarantees Burns-Magee will conduct searches on a Retained, Exclusive-Contingency, and Non-Exclusive Contingency basis. Our best clients understand that Retainers are the optimal method of utilizing our services. Because of the higher level of commitment on the clients end, we dedicate researchers and associates to complete these searches with the highest priority. We have successfully completed 100% of the retained work that we have been engaged on. A remarkable statement when you compare to the 72% industry average. We certainly understand that not all clients will choose the retained method. Due to urgency level, pool of candidates in the area, and luck in fulfilling past needs in a timely manner and lack of success by other firms in the past, sometimes a contingency search is preferred. We will absolutely present candidates on a contingent basis as we come across individuals that we think fit the profile of your need. These are just lower in priority and retained work will always take precedence. Our typical fee ranges from 35% to 25% of the position's first year compensation. Burn-Magee is willing to custom tailor each search to match each individual Employer's situation on a case by case basis... NON-EXCLUSIVE CONTINGENCY SEARCH SERVICE This is a non-exclusive relationship whereby the Employer may enlist the services of additional agencies and/or advertise on their own... A fee is only due and payable if a candidate presented by Builders' Search is hired by the Employer. EXCLUSIVE CONTINGENCY SEARCH SERVICE Employer agrees to an exclusive agency relationship for an agreed upon period of time. The exclusivity does not prevent the Employer from filling the position as a result of their direct recruiting efforts. The exclusivity pertains only to enlisting the services of additional agencies. A fee is only due and payable if a candidate presented by Burns-Magee Search is hired by the Employer. RETAINED SEARCH SERVICE A retained search is an exclusive search assignment whereby a deposit is billed to the Employer at the beginning of the assignment as a retainer. The terms with each individual retained assignment vary with specific client needs. The exclusivity applies only to enlisting the services of additional agencies. The exclusivity does not prevent the Employer from filling the position as a result of their direct recruiting efforts. We offer a money back guarantee on all retainers and a one year guarantee.
